Client Service Representative

At Prestige Animal Hospital, we offer quality medical, surgical, grooming, and dental services for cats and dogs. Our staff is passionate about veterinary medicine and is currently looking for a new team member who shares the same devotion to join our team of Client Service Representatives.

The Client Service Representative assures a smooth flow of clients and pets through the hospital in order to maximize the team’s potency for productivity. Candidates should have strong animal behavior/handling skills, efficient in a fast-paced environment, able to work a weekend day, flexible hours, and holidays. The applicant must demonstrate motivation, excellent communication skills, and a true passion for their career choice. Applicants should be prepared to work in a fast-paced setting. 


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year related experience required with customer service preferred


  • Ability to brainstorm prioritizes, execute, analyze, and improve
  • Love for all animals and a passion for their well-being
  • Professional curiosity and willingness to learn veterinary medicine
  • A positive approach to problem-solving
  • Great writing skills and propensity to over-communicate through email, letter, and memos
  • Ability to recruit new clients by properly educating them and promoting the hospital’s services
  • Ability to direct the flow of clients and their pets to make certain each client receives exceptional service
  • Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service to clients by properly educating them
  • Be an advocate of preventative care for animals and their needs as well as the hospital's services in order to encourage doctor visits
  • Ability to assist clients to complete any documents needed, proper restraint of their own pets, entering any information needed in the computer all to assure prompt service is delivered
  • Ability to responsibly manage finances and maintain an accurate balance as well as following through with opening and closing procedures
  • Must take initiative in finding solutions to problems and present options and ideas that will improve the current situation
  • Ability to discharge a patient by providing the client with all necessary instructions, documents, invoices, and any prescriptions per the veterinarian as well as scheduling future appointments.
