We are a full-service animal hospital providing comprehensive pet healthcare services in Fontana, CA. Our veterinarians offer a wide variety of medical, surgical, and dental services. Our hospital has advanced equipment and technologies, including comprehensive in-house testing for accurate diagnosis, digital x-ray, surgical suites, dental suites, and a pharmacy. We are committed to providing quality care at every stage of your pet's life. From routine preventive care to early detection and treatment of a wide range of conditions and diseases, we have the expertise to provide the highest standard of care for your pet. We also serve San Bernadino, Rancho Cucamonga, Jurupa Valley, and Riverside areas.

Dr. Liana Chang, DVM
Medical Director - S. Fontana
Dr. Chang was born in Los Angeles and raised in Fullerton, CA. She first decided to become a veterinarian at the age of 16 when she took a veterinary science elective course in high school and enjoyed it so much that she started to volunteer at an animal hospital. Dr. Chang then majored in Animal Sciences at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2008 from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. She practiced at a pet hospital in Upland from 2008 until 2015. Dr. Chang then started her full time position here at Prestige Animal Hospital in April 2015.
She enjoys eating, watching TV (especially dance shows like SYTYCD), watching figure skating competitions (go Yuzuru Hanyu!), listening to music (Jeremy Jordan, BTS), and taking care of her many fruit trees (including mango, avocado, peach, plum, persimmon, fig, pear, lemon, orange, etc. varieties) and succulents. She currently enjoys spending time with her 2 geriatric cats (Peaches and Callie).

Dr. Kenneth Aponte, DVM
Medical Director - N. Fontana
Dr. Aponte was born and raised in Puerto Rico where he grew up surrounded by many pets ranging from dogs and cats to large animals like horses and goats. This early exposure to animals triggered the development of his love and passion for all animals and ultimately lead to his decision to come to California in 2007 to complete his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
Dr. Aponte graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in 2011. He has worked at several very busy, small animal hospitals, giving him the opportunity to help promote pet health and prolong the life of a large number of pets. He was the Chief of Staff in charge of multiple small animal hospitals in San Bernardino County. Recently, he assumed the role as Medical Director for our North Fontana location. Currently he lives in Fontana with his family. During his free time he enjoys hiking, visiting local amusement parks, the beach, gardening, traveling, exploring National Parks and trying all the great culinary options Southern California has to offer.
Dr. Aponte is very excited and looks forward to meeting you and your pets soon at our North Fontana hospital.

Dr. Margarita Pinto, DVM
Veterinarian - S. Fontana
Dr. Pinto was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at a very young age and her parents helped cultivate her love for animals. She grew up surrounded by dogs, chickens, rabbits, tortoises, pocket pets, and birds. She has been working in animal hospitals since she was 17 years old. She did her undergraduate study at UC Davis and then obtained her degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Western University of Health Sciences in 2009.
She currently resides in the Woodcrest community of Riverside with her husband of 11 years. She keeps busy with her menagerie of pets. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and traveling. To relax she enjoys thriller novels and mosaics.

Dr. Patricia Colley, DVM, MPVM
Veterinarian - S. Fontana
Patricia Colley had always wanted to be a veterinarian but changed her major in college to Agricultural Business Management. However, after being in banking for 10 years, she decided to become a veterinarian. So, with the help and support of her husband and family, she graduated from UC Davis in 1996 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine, and in 1997, received her Masters in Preventive Veterinary Medicine. Her thesis was on the elemental composition of cat teeth with and without feline resorptive lesions, which was published in the American Journal of Veterinary Research.
She completed a medical and surgical internship at Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles in 1998, and lived in Northern California where she completed a Don Low Fellowship in Small Animal Anesthesia in 2005; taught veterinary technician students at Western Career College (now Carrington); was on the UC Davis Veterinary Admissions Advisory Committee and was medical director of Kitten Central of Placer County (a neonatal kitten rescue). She is also Fear Free certified (Fear Free is an organization that advocates for happier veterinary visits for dogs and cats).
Dr. Colley and her husband moved back to Southern California in 2014, and she started working at Prestige Animal Hospital on Saturdays for 3 years. She is now very happy to be working full time at Prestige South. She has 2 dogs and a cat, and in her spare time, she enjoys history, thrift stores, and road trips.

Emily
Hospital Manager - S. Fontana
Emily is one of our veterinary assistants here at Prestige Animal Hospital. She has been in the veterinary field since 2007. Emily enjoys spending time with her son and two daughters, Sterling, Gypsy, Raven and husband, Joshua. She is a proud fur mom of 3 dogs and 1 cat. In her free time, Emily enjoys knitting baby beanies for different charities in need. She is very crafty and has a few hobbies which include crocheting, knitting, weaving and she spins her own yarn.

Rosie
Hospital Manager - N. Fontana
Rosie has been with the Prestige family since 2011. She has always loved animals. Before working at Prestige Rosie would volunteer at the animal shelter.
Besides working she loves to spend time with her beautiful Boxer dog Daisy. When Daisy is not taking up Rosie’s time she also likes to go hiking and she loves to travel. Her most recent adventure was Thailand where she got to feed/ take care of elephants in a sanctuary. Rosie looks forward to meeting you and your fur babies.

Andrea has loved animals since she was a little girl. She has had dogs, chickens, bunnies, birds and so on. She currently only owns one dog, Coco, who she loves and spoils very much. Andrea enjoys going to the beach, playing video games, and spending time with her family and friends.

Miranda
Client Service Rep + Kennel Attendant - S. Fontana
Miranda is one of our Kennel Attendants and Client Service Representatives. She has been with us since March of 2017. Before she started working with us she was a supervisor at Kohls for 3 years. She has a passion for helping people and has loved taking care of animals since she was a little girl. She has a cat named Soft Paws who loves to drool and a dog named Jaks who always has his tail wagging. When Miranda isn’t working she loves to go swimming, go to the beach, and off-roading with her boyfriend and friends. Her favorite foods are sushi and almost any kind of pasta. She loves making people laugh and making people smile.

Valeria
Vet Assistant - S. Fontana
Valeria works as a veterinary assistant here at Prestige. She has always loved animals since she could remember, having four horses and two dogs; Bonnie and Baloo. Valeria enjoys cooking a variety of foods and loves traveling with her husband whenever she gets the opportunity. Valeria enjoys helping animals, and making sure they live a happy healthy life; she says, “the feeling I get once I have helped out an animal and knowing its life is going to be better is so satisfying.”

Andrew has been with Prestige Animal Hospital since September of 2017. He has obtained his Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from Platt College. Andrew loves the variety of tasks that must be performed with each patient as well as learning new assignments. He appreciates interaction with clients and making a positive difference in the lives of pets. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys music, playing basketball, and spending time with his boy, Flakko.

Kennel Attendant - S. Fontana
Kaitlyn is one of our Kennel Attendants here at Prestige Animal Hospital. She began volunteering here during her freshman year of high school and became an official member of our team in December 2017. She is currently a senior in high school who will soon graduate in 2019. After high school, she plans to go to college to work her way up to become a registered veterinarian technician. Kaitlyn has 2 dogs named Zoey and Aubrey. During her free time, she enjoys listening to music, drawing, and spending time with her friends and family.

Groomer - S. Fontana
I believe the bond between pet and groomer is vital. I strive to develop close relationships with all of my four-legged clients. I do my best to provide a safe and stress-free experience for every pet in my care. Your pet will be treated with the same compassion and love my own receive. The key is using positive reinforcement rather than disciplinary actions. My gentle touch will gain the trust needed for a pleasant grooming experience and a happy pet. I have a special knack for working with pets other groomers turn away I take great pride in my work. I treat every pet as if they were my own and show them the love, care, and respect that they deserve. I stay on the cutting edge of grooming trends, products and technology by attending a variety of grooming conventions for continuing education, as well as networking with other professional groomers worldwide When I’m not grooming I love going quad riding, horseback riding, taking my dogs hiking and spending time with my family and volunteering my time at my church.

Samantha is a Veterinary Assistant and is currently in school working on becoming a veterinary technician at Carrington College. She has been volunteering/working in the veterinary field for 2 years. In her free time, she likes to take out her fur baby named Juno on roller skating trips and to the dog park.

Vet Assistant - S. Fontana
Ramona is one of our Veterinary Assistants and is studying to become a Veterinarian. She joined the Prestige Animal Hospital family back in November 2012. She began as a volunteer and after 6 months of hard work, determination, and training she became an official member of the Prestige Animal Hospital team. Her positive attitude and love for all pets show, and we are very excited to have her as part of our family. Ramona has a darling little Yorkshire terrier named Muffins that she loves and cares for. She spends her free time playing with muffins, spending time with her family and friends and watching movies. She enjoys nature, shopping, baking and traveling

Mireya is one of our veterinary assistants here at Prestige. She has been in the field for two years after graduating from Platt college in 2017. When Mireya isn’t working with animals, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going on spontaneous adventures, and finding new places to eat. She is a proud cat mom of her cat Ikaia.

Client Service Rep + Vet Assistant - N. Fontana
Karina is a CSR/Veterinary Assistant here at Prestige North Fontana since 2021. She is currently at Mount San Antonio College working on her major to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Ever since she could remember she has always enjoyed working with animals. Karina currently owns only one fur baby named Walle. She has always enjoyed assisting people and interacting with them and making a positive impact in their lives. To Karina, it is always rewarding when she has been able to help an animal get better and the feedback from clients when they have noticed the positive difference. Outside of work Karina enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, going to sporting events, concerts, the movies, the gym, and amusements parks.

Client Service Rep + Vet Assistant - N. Fontana
Jajaira is a CSR/veterinary assistant who joined the PAHNF family in 2021. Currently, she is attending Mt. San Antonio community college and working on completing her major to become a registered vet tech. Growing up Jajaira was always fascinated by and interested in working with and caring for pets. She began with volunteer work in high school at a local animal shelter to get her start in the veterinary field. Jajaira has 3 fur babies of her own which include her dog Bentley and her 2 cats Canela and Estella. During her free time, you can find Jajaira going to concerts, trying new food spots, at the gym, catching a movie, or spending time with her loved ones.

Christina has been with Prestige Animal Hospital since September of 2019. She has obtained her Associate’s Degree in Animal Science and Veterinary Technology from Carrington College and is studying to become a licensed veterinary technician (RVT). Christina is always eager to learn and take on more tasks to help her team, currently, she is working as a lead VA & assists with management duties. She has always had a passion for animals and is compassionate about the veterinary field. She likes to volunteer her skills and knowledge to rescue services and clinics whenever possible. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs (Nymeria & Drogon), & her rabbit (Midnight). Christina also likes to spend time with family/friends & visit her hometown where she enjoys kayaking, going to the river, hiking, and more.

Vet Assistant - N. Fontana
Brooke is a Veterinary Assistant here at Prestige Animal Hospital. She obtained her associate degree in Veterinary Technology from Platt College. She joined the Prestige Family in September of 2020 and has had a variety of animals such as opossums, skunks, dogs, cats, tortoises, and a lizard. She spends her free time with her son and family trying new food, attending family game nights, and enjoying mother and son movie nights. Brooke is always willing to go above and beyond for any animal that is in need and has been loving animals for as far as she can remember.

Jennifer is a CSR at Prestige. She was born and raised in Los Angeles and has had a passion for animals her whole life. Jennifer has two dogs named Bella and Lola that are her fur babies. In her spare time, she enjoys being out in nature, listening to music, spending time with her fur babies, traveling, and loves to eat and try new food. Jennifer also likes to spend time with family and friends, taking road trips, and is obsessed with true crime shows and basketball.

Registered Vet Tech - N. Fontana
Vivian is a Registered Veterinary Technician here at Prestige. She was born and raised in Fontana and has had a passion for animals since she can remember. After receiving her A.S. degree at Mount San Antonio College and passing her National Board Exam she decided to continue her education at Cal Poly Pomona to receive her B.S. in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Science. Vivian has 2 dogs- Reid and Fin and 2 turtles- Bubba and Ninja. She loves to start her day with a cup of cafecito con pan dulce and when she is not treating animals, she loves to travel, watch movies/shows, and spend time with her family most of all.

Kayla
Kayla joined the Prestige team summer of 2021 after graduating from the University of California Merced with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. From a young age, Kayla has always loved working with all types of animals and has known the veterinary field is what she wants to grow in. From volunteering at shelters to internships with exotic and small animal veterinarians, she is currently finishing up requirements and hopes to apply to veterinary school within the next few years while gaining experience and knowledge here at Prestige. In her free time, Kayla loves listening to live music and spending time with her two doggies, Tiny and Scooby, and her guinea pig Sugar.
